Grade 3 students recently engaged in a comprehensive and enlightening activity centered around Child Rights and Responsibilities. This initiative aimed to instill a deeper understanding of the fundamental rights children possess and the corresponding responsibilities that come with these rights, keeping in mind the SDG’s. These activities contribute to SDG 4, 5, 10, 16 & 17.
The Child Rights & Responsibilities activity was a valuable and enriching experience for Grade 3 students. By fostering awareness and a sense of responsibility, this initiative contributes to the holistic development of young minds, preparing them to become responsible and informed global citizens with broader international efforts to create a more just, inclusive, and sustainable world.
These activities are a collaborative effort by the Gohar Zaman Foundation, Frontierian Academies (FCA Jr.) & ECMPR targeting SDG 17 to educate children aged 7 & 8 about their rights and responsibilities. The facilitators who conducted the activities are Ms Sania Rehman (M.Sc Psychology), Ms Javeria Khan (M.Phill Education), Ms Laila Gulfam (M.Phill Education), Ms Seemab Ameen (M.Sc Micro Biology) & Ms Zarasht (MA Sociology).
